Donald Vander Griend, PhD, is Associate Director of Shared Resources at the University of Illinois Cancer Center, an Associate Professor in the Department of Pathology at the University of Illinois College of Medicine Chicago and co-leader of the Cancer Center Prostate Cancer Working Group. His research is focused on the function of the human urogenital system in relation to various factors: stem cell maintenance and turnover, transcription factors regulating prostate homeostasis; and molecular events driving disease initiation and progression.

My role is to leverage every available resource to enhance and accelerate scientific discovery and progress toward better cancer care.”
