April is both National Minority Health Month and Head and Neck Cancer Awareness Month. Mile Square will offer free head and neck cancer screenings at its Back of the Yards clinic on April 14 and at its Auburn Gresham site on April 17, part of a series of free oral cancer screenings in partnership with the University of Illinois Cancer Center and the UIC College of Dentistry.
Every first Sunday of the month is the Cancer Center and Mile Square segment on “Dr. in the House.”
