UI Health surgeon Gerald Gantt, Jr., who specializes in the treatment of colon and rectal cancers, was featured on radio and TV shows in Chicago and Wisconsin during Colorectal Cancer Awareness Month in March.

In Wisconsin, CBS 58 in Milwaukee featured him on air as part of their colorectal cancer awareness story.
“I think that it’s important that we highlight different cancers at different times to really focus in on them but in general, this is something that we should be aware of year-round: making healthy choices, making sure that our screening is up to date for colorectal and other cancers as well,” he said.
