University of Illinois Cancer Center leaders and members joined University of Illinois Chicago (UIC) Chancellor Marie Lynn Miranda, PhD, and the Office of the Vice Chancellor for Advancement for a special Spark After Dark event.
During a series of three-minute lightning talks, the evening’s presenters explored the research being conducted at UIC that will keep it at the forefront, save lives and define care for decades to come. Speakers at the November event, which was held at the Union League Club of Chicago, represented the intersection of health equity, women’s health, cancer and discovery.
