Pocket Resource Guides for Young Women with Breast Cancer

The Young And A Survivor (YAAS!) project at the University of Illinois Cancer Center has launched its “I’m Still Me, Sigo Siendo Yo” pocket resource guides for women diagnosed with breast cancer before the age of 45.

Resources that meet the unique needs of young women diagnosed with breast cancer can be hard to find. These pocket guides point to resources selected by young women for young women to answer some of the big questions they face, whether they are newly diagnosed, completed treatment or living with metastatic breast cancer.

Congratulations to Cancer Center member Tamara Hamlish, Principal Investigator on the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention-funded Young And A Survivor Network for Health Equity project, project manager Talia Holzman Castellands, and artist Sonia Lopez for the beautiful design.
