This Friday, the University of Illinois Cancer Center is hosting an inter-programmatic retreat that will showcase the innovative research in all three Cancer Center research programs: Cancer Prevention and Control, Cancer Biology and Translational Oncology.
The June 30 event will highlight how focused areas and themes transcend individual programmatic science. There also will be an update on the Cancer Center’s plans to apply for National Cancer Institute (NCI) designation and an overview of the 2022-27 strategic plan.

The retreat will be held in-person at the University of Illinois Chicago (UIC) Student Center West, 828 S. Wolcott, in the Thompson Rooms on the second floor.
