University of Illinois Cancer Center member Shikha Jain, MD, FACP, assistant professor of hematology/oncology at the College of Medicine, Director of Communication Strategies in Medicine, and Associate Director of Oncology Communication & Digital Innovation, is featured in a new video developed by the Carcinoid Cancer Foundation (CCF). The video, titled “Carcinoid Syndrome and Serotonin,” explains carcinoid syndrome and why it occurs, how it can be confused with other health conditions, its impact on quality of life, and treatment options. Jain was also recently featured in a “Luncheon With the Experts” Facebook Live segment sponsored by the CCF.
