Nguyen is a Medical Oncologist, Assistant Professor of Clinical Medicine, and Director of the Precision Oncology Tumor Board at the University of Illinois Chicago. Nguyen specializes in the care of patients with melanoma and lung cancer, he develops and oversees clinical trials, and he is a health equity researcher. His research is funded by the American Cancer Society and he is an awardee of the Robert A. Winn Diversity in Clinical Trials Career Development Award
