The Chicago Cancer Health Equity Collaborative (ChicagoCHEC) hosted a January 16 book signing to celebrate the release of “The Breast Is Yet to Come:The Ultimate Testimony,” which tells the story of 12 women, known as the Butterflies, who describe their personal journeys with cancer.
The book was edited by University of Illinois Cancer Center Community Advisory Board Co-Chair Joanne Glenn, RN, MBA, and Tracy Luedke, PhD, of Northeastern Illinois University (NEIU).
ChicagoCHEC is a National Cancer Institute (NCI) comprehensive cancer partnership led by the Robert H. Lurie Comprehensive Cancer Center of Northwestern University, the University of Illinois Cancer Center and NEIU.
Glenn was co-chair of the CHEC Community Steering Committee through the first seven years of the partnership, and Luedke is the current CHEC Outreach Core co-lead for NEIU.
