Breaking Barriers: Women’s Health Research

University of Illinois Cancer Center member Shikha Jain, MD, FACP, a UI Health medical oncologist, was among the featured speakers at “Breaking Barriers,” a thought-provoking panel discussion commemorating the 30th anniversary of the 1993 landmark National Institutes of Health (NIH) Revitalization Act, which reshaped the landscape of women’s health research.

Here’s a link to watch the event if you missed it.

The UIC Center for Clinical and Translational Science co-sponsored the January 19 event, along with the Northwestern University Clinical and Translational Sciences (NUCATS) Institute and the Institute for Translational Medicine.
