If you missed it, you can still listen to WVON’s “Dr. in the House with Dr. Terry Mason” when his guest was Ines Pulido, PhD, MS, discussing her research on lung cancer. The segment aired live on May 4.
She discussed her project, “Multi-omic Signature of Drug Resistance to Specific KRAS G12D Inhibitors.” Pulido is a Postdoctoral Research Associate in the Shimamura Lab, part of the research arm of the Department of Surgery, Cardiothoracic Division at the University of Illinois College of Medicine Chicago. The lab’s Principal Investigator, Takeshi Shimamura, PhD, MS, is part of the University of Illinois Cancer Center’s Cancer Biology Research Program.
