Starts Wednesday: Summer CME

The University of Illinois Cancer Center’s three-part 2025 Summer CME Series starts Wednesday, and there is still time to register. Subsequent sessions will be held on June 18 and June 25.

Each session day has a different cancer focus, and attendees can earn up to three hours of CME per session. The series is accredited by Global Education Group. All three sessions will be held at mHUB, located at 1623 W. Fulton Street in Chicago.

  • June 11 – Breast Cancer (Course Chair: Cancer Center member Abiola Ibraheem, MD)
  • June 18 – General Oncology (Course Chair: Cancer Center Deputy Director VK Gadi, MD, PhD)
  • June 25 – Hematologic Malignancies (Course Chair: Carlos Galvez, MD, UI Health Division of Hematology and Oncology)
The series is free for UIC staff, faculty and affiliates, as well as students and fellows.

The target audience for this CME series includes medical oncologists, hematologists, pathologists, oncology nurses, fellows, residents, advanced practice providers, family practitioners, primary care practitioners, allied health professionals and other providers interested in the care of patients with cancer.
