WVON: Conversations on Colorectal Cancer

You can still listen here to the WVON “Dr. in the House with Dr. Terry Mason” show on March 2 when his guest was University of Illinois Cancer Center member Keith Naylor, MD, a UI Health gastroenterologist, discussing colorectal cancer. March is Colorectal Cancer Awareness Month.

In his clinical practice, Naylor’s focus is on hereditary and familial gastrointestinal cancers, with an emphasis on colorectal cancer screening. He leads a research project that seeks to improve cancer risk assessment and colorectal cancer screening among underserved populations through enhanced family history documentation. As a health services researcher, his major areas of research interest include using administrative health data to investigate small-area variation in the utilization of endoscopic and non-endoscopic forms of colorectal cancer screening.

Every first Sunday of the month is the Cancer Center and UI Health Mile Square Health Center segment on “Dr. in the House.”
