
Listen every third Wednesday of the month at 11 a.m. to the University of Illinois Cancer Center’s new segment on the Chicago Spanish-language station WRLL 1450 AM.
The segment during WRLL’s “Cafecito con Vicky” program debuted on Wednesday, March 19. Hosted by Cancer Center Visiting Research Associate Carolina Bujanda, the show featured Cancer Center member Damiano Rondelli, MD, who practices at UI Health, and is Division Chief of Hematology/Oncology and Director of Blood and Marrow Transplant. He called into the show and the pair discussed blood disorders, cancer, and ways to treat them, along with global health projects he has led.

The next show is April 23 and it will feature new UI Health breast surgeon Raquel Gonzalez Heredia, MD, PhD, who specializes in breast oncology.
