Ryan Nguyen, DO, is Assistant Professor in the Division of Hematology and Oncology at the University of Illinois College of Medicine Chicago and a practicing medical oncologist at UI Health. As a medical oncologist, he specializes in the care of patients with melanoma and lung cancer. As a researcher, he develops and oversees cancer clinical trials. His research in health disparities has also led to his interest in studying the impact of lifelong chronic stress, also known as allostatic load (AL), on cancer outcomes. He is a recipient of the prestigious Robert A. Winn Diversity in Clinical Trials Career Development Award.
