Tune into WVON 1690 AM’s “Dr. in the House with Dr. Terry Mason,” on Sunday, December 7, when the conversation will focus on ASSETS: Structural Solutions to Clinical Research Excellence. The radio conversation serves as a prelude to an in-person ASSETS event on December 11 at Sinai Chicago, to which all are invited to attend.
The ASSETS Series, led by University of Illinois Cancer Center Associate Director for Community Outreach and Engagement Yamilé Molina, PhD, is a collection of conversations with patients, communities, legislative champions, pharmaceutical industry leaders and healthcare professionals focused on strengthening collaborations to expand clinical trial access and participation for underserved groups.
On Sunday, Molina will be a guest on WVON along with UI Health Mile Square Health Center Executive Director Karriem Watson, DHSc, MS, MPH. Mile Square is a Federally Qualified Health Center (FQHC) with a network of clinics in Chicago and Rockford.
