Annual Walk for Wellness House
There is still time to join the UI Heath/University of Illinois Cancer Center Survivorship Team to support the annual Walk for Wellness House.
Wellness House has a strong partnership with UI Health and the Cancer Center because the organization offers free supportive programs for cancer survivors, their families and caregivers at Mile Square Health Center, UI Health’s federally qualified health center.
The walk is Sunday, May 5, and the event is open to all – providers, patients, families, caregivers, friends, etc. Team members will meet the day of the walk at 9:30 a.m. at Student Center West, 828 South Wolcott, and walk about three-quarters of a mile around the University of Illinois Chicago (UIC) west medical campus.
