7th Annual UIC Women’s Health Research Day

The UIC Building Interdisciplinary Research Careers in Women’s Health (BIRCWH) Program, the UIC Center for Research on Women and Gender and the UIC Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology in partnership with the UIC Maternal Health Research Center are hosting the 7th Annual UIC Women’s Health Research Day.

The UIC Women’s Health Research Day features research related to women’s health and sex and gender differences in these topic areas. The event includes presentations by two keynote speakers followed by oral presentations of the top two abstracts and by the poster session.

UIC students, fellows, staff and faculty are invited to submit an abstract on their basic, clinical or translational research in women’s health or sex- or gender medicine. Abstracts presented at other international, national and local meetings within the past year are welcome.

The top two abstracts will be selected for brief (5-minute) oral presentations and will be awarded prizes. The other abstracts will participate in judged poster presentations. The abstracts selected for oral presentations and the top two scoring posters will be awarded prizes.

Registration is free. Advance registration required.
