Online information about cancer is everywhere. But not all information is accurate or reliable. Join Facing Our Risk of Cancer Empowered (FORCE) and the Young And A Survivor Network (YAAS!) for this interactive workshop to learn how to look behind the cancer headlines in order to find reliable information relevant to you. This workshop is open to individuals diagnosed with cancer, caregivers, community health workers, and patient navigators.

1. Help you decide which news articles about cancer are likely to be accurate, balanced, and relevant and which ones have red flags that indicate they may not be reliable.
2. Provide you with resources to help you find reliable online health information.
3. Offer tips for having a conversation with your health care team about how new cancer research may affect your care.
