Per University of Illinois System President, Tim Killeen, and University of Illinois at Chicago leadership recommendations, designed to protect the health and welfare of students, faculty, staff and campus guests amid the global COVID-19 pandemic, the UI Cancer Center is cancelling the 2020 Dr. Gary Kruh Cancer Research Symposium and Student Poster Competition.

The Dr. Gary Kruh Cancer Research Symposium and Student Poster Competition is an annual event, named for former University of Illinois Cancer Center Director Dr. Gary Kruh and brings together cancer researchers, faculty and students to learn more about the latest advancements in cancer research. A student poster competition is also held.
