Colorectal Cancer Screening Boot Camp: FQHC’s Overcoming Challenges & Best Practices

IPHCA and American Cancer Society (ACS) have collaborated on a virtual boot camp for health center staff, which will be a series of webinars focused on reigniting colorectal cancer (CRC) screening and improving CRC screening rates in a clinical practice. The series will focus on the impact of the pandemic on screening rates as well as guidelines for returning to screening; evidence-based interventions and QI strategies for increasing screening; and current health center challenges and best practices to overcome barriers. Sessions will be led by American Cancer Society subject matter experts as well as health center leaders. The third session will feature a panel of health center leaders and focus on:

• Current CRC challenges at health centers and strategies to overcome barriers
• Best practices to improve screening outcomes
