Dance Marathon Supports Childhood Cancer Survivorship Clinic

University of Illinois Cancer Center trainee Clarissa Gomez is raising money to support the UI Health Childhood Cancer Survivorship Clinic.

Gomez, an undergraduate student majoring in mathematics at the University of Illinois Chicago (UIC), is president of Sparkathon, UIC’s annual dance marathon that benefits the survivorship clinic. Sparkathon has raised more than $30,000 for the clinic in recent years and the goal this year is $10,000.
