Chicago is among the cities where the cancer research charity Stand Up To Cancer is seeking applications for its Diversity In Early Development Community Engagement Grants to support grassroots engagement to increase participation in early development clinical trials among minority and traditionally underrepresented populations.
Two-year grants ranging from $50,000 to $100,000 will be awarded to organizations in the communities where Stand Up To Cancer Diversity in Early Development Teams are conducting their research: Chicago, Dallas, Los Angeles and Philadelphia.
Recipients of the community engagement grants will support efforts to increase clinical trial participation in their respective communities. Community engagement strategies and practices that can be replicated and sustained after the funding period has ended are of most interest.
Applications are due by Friday, April 7, 2023, at Noon EDT.
Contact Farah Mirza, MBA,([email protected]), at the Cancer Center if you need help with the application.
