The Chicago Cancer Health Equity Collaborative (ChicagoCHEC) is hosting its Ninth Annual Community Forum, “Nothing About Us Without Us: Community-Driven Cancer Solutions,” on November 15.
Free lunch will be provided to all attendees at the in-person forum, which will be held at the Arturo Velasquez Institute, 2800 S. Western Avenue in Chicago, from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.
The focus will be diverse community conversations on cancer experiences, lifestyle factors, cancer prevention and more. Attendees will also have opportunities to connect with cancer health resources. Spanish, Cantonese and American Sign Language (ASL) interpretations will be provided.
ChicagoCHEC is a National Cancer Institute comprehensive cancer partnership between the University of Illinois Cancer Center, which is part of the University of Illinois Chicago (UIC), the Robert H. Lurie Comprehensive Cancer Center of Northwestern University and Northeastern Illinois University.
