The International Association for the Study of Lung Cancer (IASLC) 2019 North America Conference on Lung Cancer will be held on Oct. 10-12 at the Fairmont Chicago Millennium Park, 200 N. Columbus Drive, Chicago. The conference is an educational and scientific event which will cover key aspects of the diagnosis and management of lung cancer and other thoracic malignancies. It will provide lectures on accurate diagnosis, including molecular diagnosis, state of the art treatment of thoracic malignancies, and recent diagnostic and therapeutic advances.
Robert Winn, MD, director of the University of Illinois Cancer Center, is serving on one the event’s programming committees. If any UI Cancer Center member is presenting at the conference, please let us know. Douglas Lowy, MD, acting director of the National Cancer Institute, will serve as keynote lecturer on Friday, Oct. 11.
