CAN TV airing Brawley’s discussion of cancer control

Did you miss Otis W. Brawley discuss how cancer can be controlled in the 21st Century during the recent University of Illinois Cancer Center’s Distinguished Lecture? Fear not, CAN TV recorded it and will air it this week. So tune in to Chicago cable channel 27 to hear Brawley, MD, Bloomberg Distinguished Professor of Oncology and Epidemiology at Johns Hopkins University.

The lecture will be aired on Sept 11 at noon; Sept. 12 and 13 at 9:30 a.m. and 7:30 p.m., and Sept. 13 at 7 a.m., 6 p.m. and 9 p.m.

Brawley is an authority on cancer screening and prevention and leads a broad interdisciplinary research effort focused on cancer health disparities at the Johns Hopkins School of Medicine, the Bloomberg School of Public Health and the Sidney Kimmel Comprehensive Cancer Center. He is a member of the National Cancer Institute Board of Scientific Advisors and the National Academy of Medicine.
