SWIO Annual Day of Beauty
Find us at our table where we will provide education, resources, and empowerment to black women, enabling them to understand the importance of early detection, family health history, genetic testing, and self-advocacy. We are dedicated to supporting local black breast cancer thrivers throughout their journey, offering them the encouragement and assistance they need. We want to create a day of pampering as a token of appreciation for the incredible black women who are part of this caring community. Our sincere hope is that this event will bring about positive change and foster a stronger, more informed network within the black community. Together, we can make a difference in the lives of those affected by breast cancer and enhance the awareness of breast health among women.
Also, be sure to catch the panel discussion from 10 am – 12 pm, with one of our Cancer Center staff, Dr. Leslie Carnahan.
