You are invited to join Tristesse Burton, PhD, in the Odeh Center as she discusses indigenous plants that have benefits and use in the treatment of women’s health issues. Dr. Burton’s research addresses perinatal cardiometabolic health disparities as risk factors for maternal mortality among Black and Indigenous women through complementary and alternative medicine focusing on plant-based natural products and foods.
