Dr. Wardrop’s research focuses on developing methods for target-directed organic synthesis and their application to the synthesis of bioactive natural products and drug discovery. Work in the Wardrop group is currently focused on epigenetic-based immunotherapy agents and the development of ultra-selective HDAC6 inhibitors treatment of melanoma and other malignancies.
