NCI providing information on COVID-19 for patients, researchers
Nearly 775,000 cases of COVID-19 have been reported in the U.S, causing more than 41,00
0 deaths. A new disease, there is limited information regarding risk factors for severe illness from the novel coronavirus, according to the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC). What is known, however, is that older adults and people of any age who have serious underlying medical conditions, such as cancer, may be at a higher risk for severe illness.
