Robert Winn, MD, director of the UI Cancer Center, will deliver the keynote address at the Association of American Indian Physicians Conference in Chicago on Thursday, Aug. 8. Winn’s topic is “Achieving Cancer Health Equity in the era of Precision Medicine and Big Data – The Bench to Community Model.” The conference will be held at the Crown Plaza Chicago West Loop hotel (25 S. Halsted St.) from Aug. 8-11. The UI Cancer Center is a co-sponsor of the conference, as well as a sponsor for the Gourd Dance and Pow Wow that follows the conference sessions and activities.
