The University of Illinois Cancer Center is part of the University of Illinois Chicago (UIC) and UI Health, UIC's academic health enterprise. The Cancer Center aims to stimulate cancer-related academic and clinical research across all schools and departments on the Chicago campus and at regional campuses in Rockford and Peoria.
Cancer Center members conduct collaborative state-of-the-art cancer research, provide transdisciplinary team-based clinical care, and engage with communities to understand and address the needs of the populations we serve.
The Cancer Center is organized into three research programs.
The Cancer Center has a robust clinical trials program. Clinical trials are research studies designed to answer scientific questions and discover better ways to prevent, diagnose, or treat various diseases and conditions.
We invite you to explore the programs and our resources.
If you would like to learn more about clinical trial opportunities, please contact the Cancer Center Clinical Trials Office at cancertrials@uic.edu or call 312-355-5112.
