A UI Health staff food drive is ongoing through September 20 to increase the supply of shelf-stable items to be shared with families in need at a Food and Nutrition Pop-up later this month.
The September 26 pop-up event is for people and their families diagnosed with cancer or another health condition and in need of food assistance. At the free event, people can pick up fresh fruit and vegetables, snacks, spices and meal prep items.
