The back-to-school segment featured David Anyadike, MD, who specializes in pediatric primary care at Mile Square, and Mile Square Executive Director Karriem Watson, DHSc, MS, MPH.

The first Sunday of the month is the Cancer Center/Mile Square segment on WVON, where guests discuss cancer research and care, and overall general health care and services provided at UI Health, which includes Mile Square and the Cancer Center. UI Health is UIC's academic health system.
