Community Wellness Fair

The University of Illinois Cancer Center thanks everyone for the success of our Community Wellness Fair, hosted in partnership with Community Health Media. Steady streams of people attended the daylong fest, held at the University of Illinois Chicago (UIC) Student Center East on August 1.
Visitors enjoyed free food and filled bags with free produce to take home. Meaningful discussions around breast cancer, prostate cancer, and the impact of nutrition on health engaged the crowd. Community partner and vendor tables shared resources for better health. A balloon-twister, face-painter, magician, and the UIC pep and jazz bands entertained kids and adults alike.
The Cancer Center is part of UIC's academic health enterprise, UI Health.
