Delivering drugs specifically to the tumor sites while avoiding off-target accumulation is the key to develop effective cancer therapies. My research program strives to develop new nanotechnology- and cell-based drug delivery technologies to target tumor microenvironment. Current research focus includes 1) leveraging the body’s own cells as delivery vesicles for tumor targeting and 2) engineering nanoscale materials for tumor immunomodulation.
