Xiaohong Joe Zhou, PhD, is Professor in the Department of Radiology at the University of Illinois College of Medicine at UIC. His primary interest is in developing advanced MRI techniques for cancer detection, characterization, staging and treatment evaluation. His research projects span from brain tumors and gastric cancer to prostate cancer. His research team has focused on tumor microstructures and microenvironment using diffusion MRI and other imaging techniques on human subjects.
