Susan Magasi, PhD, is Professor and Head of the Department of Occupational Therapy in the UIC College of Applied Health Sciences. Her cancer health equity research is situated at the intersection of disability and cancer. Specifically, she is interested in understanding and addressing the needs of cancer survivors with known disabilities through mobile health-enabled peer support and self-management interventions using community-based participatory and team science approaches.
