Shikha Jain, MD, FACP, is a board-certified hematologist and oncologist who practices at UI Health, and Associate Professor in the University of Illinois College of Medicine at UIC in the Division of Hematology and Oncology. Her cancer research focuses on GI Oncology, specifically neuroendocrine tumors, immunotherapy, colorectal and pancreatic cancers; communication strategies and oncology; and equity in healthcare and in the workforce. Her leadership roles include GI Oncology IPU Lead and Associate Director of Oncology Communication and Digital Innovation at the Cancer Center. Externally, her leadership roles include CEO and Co-Founder of IMPACT, an action and advocacy organization; Founder and CEO of the Women in Medicine Summit™; and Founder and Board Member of the nonprofit Women in Medicine®. Additionally, she is a consulting medical editor for Healio Women in Oncology and host of the podcast ‘Oncology Overdrive,’ where she discusses the latest in the field.
