Sean McClellan, MD, MAS, is Assistant Professor in the Department of Family and Community Medicine at the University of Illinois College of Medicine at UIC, and he practices at UI Health, where he provides the full spectrum of primary care to patients, including cancer survivors. His mission as a researcher is to improve cancer outcomes in underresourced communities in the United States and globally by designing, enacting and evaluating implementation strategies for cancer control interventions. He is interested in developing collaborations at the intersection of implementation science, primary care and oncology with a focus on cancer screening and cancer survivorship in Mexico and Chicago. At UIC, he is associated with the Center for Dissemination and Implementation Science and the Center for Global Health.
