Sage Kim, PhD, is Professor in the Division of Health Policy and Administration at the UIC School of Public Health. Her research focuses on the effects of incarceration, health disparities and population health. She has examined spatial clusters of environmental hazards in the Chicago area in relation to neighborhood level racial composition, social capital and political participation. She has worked on breast cancer outcomes, examining the relationship between racial residential segregation, access to federally funded care facilities and cancer screening/following outcomes.
