Preetish Kadur Lakshminarasimha Murthy, PhD, is Assistant Professor in the Department of Pharmacology and Regenerative Medicine at the University of Illinois College of Medicine at UIC. His cancer research includes a focus on the plasticity of tumor cells. The plasticity of tumor cells helps them adapt to new environments and evade the immune system. He aims to characterize the factors influencing lung tumor cell plasticity and work towards developing improved therapeutic interventions.
