Michael Berbaum, PhD, is Director of the Methodology Research Core at the UIC Institute for Health Research and Policy, which is housed under the School of Public Health, and Director of the Biostatistics Core at the UIC Center for Clinical and Translational Science (CCTS). He also serves on the University of Illinois Cancer Center Protocol Review Committee (PRC). On the PRC, he provides expertise in epidemiology and biostatistics related to incoming and ongoing protocols and studies. Throughout his career, he has provided statistical support to numerous investigators in health and community prevention studies. His expertise includes observational studies, experimental design, power analysis, longitudinal data analysis and ROC analysis.
