Li-Ting H. Longcoy, PHD, DrPH, RN, is Assistant Professorin the Department of Biobehavorial Nursing Science at the UIC College of Nursing. Her goal is to empower patients to thrive throughout their cancer experience. Her work explores dyadic behavior to enhance the quality of life for patients and their family caregivers. She is developing a resilience-building intervention to support patients and family caregivers for advance care planning discussions, aiming to increase the likelihood of receiving care that aligns with their values and preferences.
