Janet Lin, MD, MPH, MBA, is Professor of Emergency Medicine in the University of Illinois College of Medicine at UIC, and she practices in the Department of Emergency Medicine at UI Health. She is dedicated to the pursuit of how to improve access to or delivery of health care within resource-limited settings through a lens of equity and social justice. As part of that commitment, she implemented a novel breast cancer screening program in the emergency department to identify people who may not otherwise access the healthcare system.
