Hongjin Li, PhD, is Assistant Professor in the Department of Human Development Nursing Science at the UIC College of Nursing. She has multidisciplinary training and research experience in oncology, symptom science, omics, acupuncture intervention and biostatistics. She is Principal Investigator on the FAB study, designed to test the feasibility of implementing an acupuncture intervention in a Federally Qualified Health Center (FQHC) and oncology clinic for breast cancer survivors. The goal is to facilitate the widespread implementation, dissemination and sustained utilization of acupuncture for symptom management among medically underserved breast cancer survivors receiving endocrine therapy in Federally Qualifie Health Centers (FQHCs) nationwide.
