Gye Young Park, MD, is Professor of Medicine in the Division of Pulmonary, Critical Care, Sleep and Allergy at the University of Illinois College of Medicine at UIC. He is a cancer immunologist focusing on dendritic cells and macrophages in lung cancer. His lab investigates the role of tumor-infiltrating myeloid cells such as macrophages and dendritic cells and seeks a new approach for myeloid cell-mediated cancer immunotherapy. A physician-scientist, he specializes in asthma, COPD, lung cancer and intervention bronchoscopy at UI Health.
