Research Program

Gregory Hermann, MD, MPH, is Clinical Assistant Professor in the Department of Radiation at the University of Illinois College of Medicine Peoria. His research focus is to identify treatments to reduce toxicity from radiation and optimize radiation delivery to minimize dose to surrounding healthy tissues in patients with cancer. With collaboration, he is developing daily adaptive radiation plans utilizing artificial intelligence, identifying therapeutics for symptom management, evaluating the potential radiobiological benefits of proton therapy and FLASH therapy, and leading investigational antineoplastic therapies.
