Gregory Hermann, MD, MPH, is Clinical Assistant Professor in the Department of Radiology at the University of Illinois College of Medicine at UIC's regional campus in Peoria. His research focus is to identify treatments to reduce toxicity from radiation and optimize radiation delivery to minimize the dose to surrounding healthy tissues in patients with cancer. With collaboration, we are developing daily adaptive radiation plans utilizing artificial intelligence, identifying therapeutics for symptom management, evaluating the potential radiobiological benefits of proton therapy and FLASH therapy, and leading investigational antineoplastic therapies.
