Donald Vander Griend, PhD, is Associate Director of Shared Resources at the University of Illinois Cancer Center, a Professor in the Department of Pathology at the University of Illinois College of Medicine at UIC, and co-leader of the Cancer Center Prostate Cancer Working Group. His research focuses on the function of the human urogenital system in relation to various factors, including stem cell maintenance and turnover, transcription factors regulating prostate homeostasis, and molecular events that drive disease initiation and progression.
